The Zome Model of the First Stellation of the 120-Cell, page 9

22. Make 30 of the assemblies shown, each using 1 ball, 2 medium reds forming an acute angle, and 2 long reds forming an obtuse angle. This uses 30 balls and 60 medium reds.

23. Attach these as shown. Despite the fact that the model is now quite heavy and that it may appear that these additional attachments won't support the weight, the picture proves the contrary. Now the hull of the model is as big as that of the finished model; no more balls will be attached.

24. At each of the 30 balls adjoined in the previous step, there should be a way to attach 4 long yellows in a natural way. This uses 120 long yellows.

25. At each of the 30 balls adjoined in the previous step, there should be a way to attach 4 long blues in a natural way. This uses 120 long blues.

If you have successfully completed steps 1-25, then you are now standing in the presence of a Zome model of the first stellation of the 120-cell. Congratulations!
